…thanks to the lovely Kirsten of A Letter From Home, long-time contributor to my late-lamented blogroll way back in the glory days of my blogspot bloggery. No – I’ll not tell you what my blog was called, however I will embarrass poor Kirsten by confessing that what first drew me to ‘A Letter’ was a graphic description of the state of her dining-room table! ‘ It was long ago and far away…’ If I remember rightly, I was signed up to a wonderful course at the London Centre for Spiritual Direction at the time, ‘Sacred Spirals ,’ and my and others musings about labyrinths spilled over online. (if you’ve not walked a labyrinth in the middle of the City of London financial district, you’ve never lived).
We’re Back!
The dining room table continues its slow oscillation from clear (seldom) to cluttered (nearly all the time. I have reached a compromise; a small tablecloth folded into four, enough for my place setting at breakfast and lunch. Husband has his opposite (prefers a simple cork mat in his clearing amongst his clutter).
Looking forward to your resumption of bloggery.
What do you know? It’s that wretched junk folder again – determined to tidy up my virtual table, if not my real one. Glad to hear that you’ve found a ‘system’ that works for you. ‘Begin where you are,’ that’s what all good SDs will say, and I’m sticking with it!😇
