What is Prayer?

Persistent battling through the eye of the storm,
Railing, rainswept at ills, injustice and dry-dust boredom;
Answers dangling anywhere between here and eternity.
Yielding reason and will, free fall, to a whisper of the heart.
Entirety caught up in the essence of a moment.
Resonance,revelation, rest in stillness.

    • Thanks, Mike! The form dictated the content to a certain extent; though that’s not nexessarily a bad thing in this case. It was inspired on hearing the news of the 100,000 Uk Covid deaths and by the call to prayer from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York.
