Auf Wiedersehen, Goodbye!

Not goodbye to me! I’m very much still here. No, this is simply to wish everyone and anyone who stumbles across this site a belated New Year Greeting. May 2021 bring you health, happiness and hope; hope for a way out of the place in which we’ve found ourselves this past year. To a ‘normality’ that not be exactly as we were before, but which is life-giving and creatively rewarding in whatever way speaks to you personally.
Was it Emily Dickinson who wrote: “‘Hope’ is the thing with feathers”? Here’s my favourite, featherlight symbol of hope, dating back to my Franciscan days. I wonder what speaks hope into your life as we bid “good riddance,” to 2020 and move into a new decade.
So, raise a glass of fizz, (alcohol-free in my case), or mug of tea, coffee or whatever’s your tipple of choice and say:
To 2021!
May 2021 be better than 2020 for you (that’s about as much as I’m allowing myself to say!!)
Keep holding heaven!
